Concept ? 

When a runner registers to The Lakes Race, he will get his RaceKit (T-Shirts, Medals, Bib, gifts etc ... ), and he will become the sponsor for one Orphan, allowing the Organizers to buy Running shoes, socks, T-Shirts, Medals and all the necessary items to allow that child to run in proper conditions. 
In our first edition, 125 orphans were invited to join the Kids Race, for our second edition the Organisers will invite over 200 orphans from 3 different orphanages. 
We believe that running is a chance for people to know their limits and challenge them. Giving this opportunity to children who have grown without parents resulting of a lack of self-esteem and confidence is a great way to prove themselves in order to become a confident adult who believes in his/her capacity. 
This race will always be about supporting and sponsoring orphans, so they can run, compete against other kids and have a wonderful memory. Besides, a small donation is also made to our Orphanage Partners.

Green Initiatives
Ho Da Lakes are beautiful lakes but theirs shores are polluted with plastic bottles and trash. The Lakes Race will organise "Plogging" (Jogging while picking trash) to make this place bluer and greener.

Promote Ho Da Lakes
​Runners will have the chance to run along the beautiful Lakes of Ho Da, the campus of Thu Duc District and its student's dormitory.
The Lakes Race would like to provide a place where people could run in the nature while breathing some fresh and clean air.
